London is approximately a 2 hour drive southwest of the City of Toronto.
If you are traveling to Canada by air, for your convenience, we suggest that you make Toronto your final destination. There are a variety of options to get to London from the Toronto Pearson International Airport, such as by airplane, bus, train, and car.
You can get a connecting flight from Toronto to London’s airport. From the London International Airport you can take a taxi (U-Need-A-Cab, Checker Limousine, or Yellow London Taxi) to London’s downtown or university area. Be sure to call the taxi company to ask for an estimate of the cost.

Driving from the London Airport to Western University
Several buses travel to London from Toronto and other cities; choose one of the following two options if you are traveling from the Toronto/Detroit airports or downtown Toronto.1. Catch a Bus from Toronto's Pearson International Airport or the Detroit Metro Airport

2. Take a Bus from Downtown Toronto
If you are INSIDE the city of Toronto and want to get to London, you can take a Greyhound bus. Greyhound buses also depart from many other cities in Canada and the United States. Tickets may be purchased online or bought the same day from any Greyhound bus terminal. It is recommended that tickets be purchased in advance.
TIP: The Greyhound Bus offers student rates. You will need to have proof of student status such as a letter of acceptance or a student card.

If you are INSIDE the city of Toronto and want to get to London, another option is to take the VIA Rail Train.
TIP: Discounts are available for travellers aged 12 to 25 years. You will need an identity card with your photo (e.g., passport) and date of birth.
VIA Rail Trains also depart from many other cities in Canada. It is recommended to buy your tickets ahead of time. Tickets may be bought at any Via Rail train station, online, over the phone, or through travel agents.

Western is a 15-20 minute bus ride from the VIA and Greyhound Stations. A one-way bus fare costs $2.75 and requires exact change.By Car
