IESC Welcome Team

The International and Exchange Student Centre at Western provides a Reception Service especially for newly arriving international students. We are here to answer any questions you may have and help you get organized and settled here at Western and in London. The service includes:

  1. Individual assistance from our IESC Welcome Team and IESC staff
  2. "After Office Hours" Welcome Helpline

When does it start?

Monday, August 25th to Friday, August 29th, 2014

IESC Welcome Team volunteers are available to meet with you and assist you upon your arrival on campus from 10:00 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.

Tuesday, September 2nd to Friday, September 5th, 2014

IESC Welcome Team volunteers are available to help you in the IESC Welcome Centre from 9:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m.

NOTE: Most Western offices, including the International and Exchange Student Centre, will be closed on Saturday, August 30th and Sunday, August 31st . Also, most Western offices including IESC and most businesses and stores in Canada will be closed on Monday, September 1st - as the result of an official Canadian Holiday (Labour Day). Please note however, that IESC staff will be available to answer questions and provide information on Monday September 1st during International Student Orientation Day Part 1. After Office Hours

From Monday, August 25th to Tuesday, September 2nd, 2014

When our service is closed, we have an after office hours WELCOME HELPLINE, 4:30 p.m. to 8:30 a.m.

Be sure to identify yourself as a newly arrived international student who will be attending Western.

Our Reception Assistant will be available to provide information and a warm welcome while the University offices are closed.
