Internet Explorer has
a feature called "Pop-up Blocker"
which could
restrict users from viewing certain windows within myHuman
Resources.
One way around this is to click "Temporarily Allow
Pop-ups" from the Information Bar each time it happens. A
long-term solution is to change the browser settings to allow
Pop-ups
when viewing specific web sites.
(The address we are concerned with is myhr.uwo.ca but
the same solution would be appropriate for any website.)
Steps:
1.
Open Internet Explorer
2.
Click on Tools > Pop-up Blocker > Pop-up Blocker Settings...
3. You should now see a window that looks like
the following:
You
might already have other websites listed in the "Allowed
sites" section.
4.
Click in the box entitiled "Address of Web site to allow:"
5.
Type the following: myhr.uwo.ca
6.
Click 
7.
Ensure that you can see myhr.uwo.ca in the "Allowed sites"
listing
8.
