Leadership Skills Refresher
You are invited to join fellow graduates of Western’s Foundational Leadership Program for a Leadership Skills Refresher Day. As new challenges arise for you, and more demands are made on your skills, take this opportunity to address your current leadership challenges through reflection, review and practice of:
- Kouzes and Posner's Five Leadership Practices (the focus on the 360 degree feedback you received during the “Understanding Leadership” course);
- Active Listening, Asserting, and the 6-step Problem Solving Method (the focus of the Leadership Effectiveness Training Course or “LET”)
Take away renewed energy to address: change and improvement initiatives, enhanced team functioning, performance improvement coaching, conflict resolution and efforts to influence your colleagues.
Who should take this course: This course is for graduates of Western’s Foundational Leadership Program, (or participants who have successfully completed both Part 1: Understanding Leadership, and Part 2: Leader Effectiveness Training (LET)).
