Where do I start? Who do I call? What do I do now? These questions can be daunting when you are faced with making decisions about your aging parent(s) care. Exploring options is often easier when you have a place to start. Come and join us for this interactive session that will explore how to engage loved ones in talking about eldercare options, where to start and how to access services right here in London.

Eldercare Essentials: Coping with the Stress of Caregiving

Caregiving for your aging parent(s) can be rewarding and challenging. We are often faced with hard decisions about what is best for them and ourselves. Managing our schedule to accommodate the demands of everyday living can become stressful all on its own. All too often we put our own needs last. You may be sleeping less, eating lunch on the run, multitasking and feeling overwhelmed. You are not alone.

This workshop will assist participants in exploring the potential rewards and stressors in caring for an aging parent, while providing timely, practical tips on positive coping strategies.

These workshops are made available to Western employees at no cost. Feel free to bring your lunch.

Registration is not necessary however room capacity is limited.
