Deferred Salary Leave
Regular full time staff and faculty may elect to defer a portion of their regular full time earnings for a period of time immediately preceding a planned leave. The deferred salary accumulates in an interest bearing account during the deferral period and is available for payment during the planned leave period. For further details refer to the appropriate Employee Agreement

Record of Employment
A Record of Employment contains required information to make application for Employment Insurance benefits with Human Resources and Social Development Canada (HRSDC). The ROE is electronically transferred to the HRSDC by the University using protocols and procedures established by HRSDC. HRSDC requires all applicants for Employment Insurance benefits to use their on-line services.

Employees needing a copy of the Record of Employment can print a hard copy by visiting "My Service Canada Account" on the Service Canada website.

Changes to your personal tax credit information can
be made on-line by signing in to myHumanResources.
