If you leave Western prior to retirement, you have a number of options to consider. Locked-in funds can be left in the Western plan (a small annual fee will be charged) or they can be transferred to a locked-in account at another institution. If you have made voluntary contributions, those funds can be cashed in, transferred or left in the plan.
