In Memoriam – Graydon Watters
It is with sadness that The University of Western Ontario forwards the news of the passing of Graydon Watters at the age of 68, on October 21, 2011. Graydon founded the Financial Education Institute of Canada in 1984, and since 2007, through Graydon and the Institute, Western has found great support for our pension education efforts. Graydon was a dynamic and passionate speaker at our full-day workshops and as a keynote speaker at our staff conferences. He was a great partner in developing web content for The Financial Educator website that met the unique needs of Western’s employees. Testimonials referred to his enthusiasm, commitment, dynamism, and innovative educational programs and systems.
