Western’s Advanced Facility for Avian Research is home to the world’s only hypobaric bird wind tunnel. Here, researchers study avian flight while altering variables like temperature, humidity, and altitude.  Learn how researchers study the effects of environmental change on birds’ neural and physiological systems, their reproduction, and migration patterns.

Meeting Location: Main lobby of the Advanced Facility for Avian Research. The building is located behind the Support Services Building, beside the Graphic Services Building.
