Faculty and Staff Recognition Event

We would like to thank you for your contributions and accomplishments over the last year.  Achievement of Western’s priorities is not possible without the dedication and engagement of its faculty and staff.  We would like to invite you and your family to celebrate by taking part in one of three Western Family Recognition Events being held on Sunday, January 28th, 2018.

UWOpera presents: The Pirates of Penzance by Gilbert & Sullivan

A wonderful mid-winter romp with singing, dancing and lots of fun. Come lift your spirits, laugh and leave singing the catchy tunes. Dialogue and music in English.

When:  Sunday, January 28, 2018 at 2:00 p.m.  
Where:  Paul Davenport Theatre, Talbot College, Western University

Doors open 15 minutes before performance.

Complimentary refreshments at intermission.


Western Film presents:  Despicable Me 3

what-is-the-image-of Despicable Me 3 is the third installment in the hit Despicable Me franchise about reformed supervillain Gru (voiced by Steve Carell) and his new wife, Lucy (Kristen Wiig), who are both Anti-Villain League agents. This time around, Gru, Lucy and their three girls are invited to Freedonia to meet Gru's long-lost twin brother, Dru (also Carrell). (Recommended Age: 7+)

When: Sunday, January 28, 2018 at 1:00 p.m.
Where: Western Film, McKellar Theatre, 2nd floor UCC

Doors open 30 minutes prior to start times.  Movies will start promptly at scheduled times.

Complimentary refreshments and light snacks will be available at all events.



Western Film presents:  Wonder Woman

what-is-the-image-ofWhen a pilot crashes and tells of conflict in the outside world, Diana, an Amazonian warrior in training, leaves home to fight a war, discovering her full powers and true destiny.  As in most other comic-based movies, there is a lot of explosive and destructive action  andviolence, as well as fierce hand-to-hand fighting and armed combat. (Recommended Age: 12+)

When: Sunday, January 28, 2018 at 3:30 p.m.
Where: Western Film, McKellar Theatre, 2nd floor UCC

Doors open 30 minutes prior to start times.  Movies will start promptly at scheduled times.

If you have ordered through the Western Mustang ticket system before:

  1.  Click on the event of your choice: Despicable Me 3; Wonder Woman; (The Pirates of Penzance - Sold Out)
  2.  Log in as Existing User.
  3.  Indicate the number of tickets and click Find Tickets.
  4.  Review your cart and click Checkout. No Payment is required.
  5.  You will receive a confirmation email with a link to download your tickets.

If you have not ordered through the Western Mustang ticket system before:

  1.  Click on the event of your choice: Despicable Me 3; Wonder Woman; (The Pirates of Penzance - Sold Out)
  2.  Register as New Customer.
  3.  Complete your Customer Profile and save. (Note that tickets to this event are complimentary and you will not be charged.)
  4.  Locate the recognition event in the list of Upcoming Events. (Tip: use menu on left to sort by Category “2017-2018 Special Events”)
  5.  Indicate the number of tickets and click Find Tickets.
  6.  Review your cart and click Checkout. No Payment is required.
  7.  You will receive a confirmation email with a link to download your tickets.

If you have a Western Parking Permit please go to the most convenient lot to park your vehicle.
