RESIDENCE
OFFERS
Your residence offer package will include a Residence at Western
booklet, which outlines all of the academic and support services
as well as the exceptional residence facilities that Western
has to offer.
To accept your offer of residence, simply complete the Residence
Placement Questionnaire at the centre of your booklet, and mail
the questionnaire in the enclosed return envelope along with
three full-face, passport-style photos and a $450 residence
deposit (cheque or bank draft payable to UWO). Acceptance of
a residence offer is binding for the full academic year (September
to April). Your deposit and required enclosures must be received
in the Residence Admissions Office by your specified deadline
date, otherwise your residence reservation will be cancelled.

Guaranteed Residence Offer:
As long as you meet the guaranteed
residence offer criteria, you will automatically receive
a residence package with your academic offer. You will have
an opportunity to rank your residence/focused-interest floor
preferences, and indicate a roommate, meal plan selections,
and other lifestyle preferences. Please note that, while we
do our best to accommodate your requests, we are unable to guarantee
that you will be placed accordingly. However, if you work hard
at your studies and take advantage of the many opportunities
for academic support in residence, you will enjoy a successful
experience in any of our residences.

Selection Process
If you are interested in applying to the Focused-interest Floors, please rank
only your top six preferences in the appropriate boxes on your Residence Placement
Questionnaire. Selection for the Focused-interest Floors takes place at the time of room
assignment. You will find out your floor assignment and your roommate upon arrival
in September. |
