Your stay in residence promises to be one of the most memorable and rewarding aspects of your university career. It is a unique and valuable experience that will serve as a special part of your post-secondary education. Living in residence will provide you with an opportunity to establish new and long-lasting friendships with a wide variety of people. As well, residence is intended to provide an environment in which students gain academic support and grow as individuals.

Going to university is a big step. It's understandable that you may be a little nervous. Don't worry. We're here to help. We have live-in residence life staff for every floor in all of our residence halls. The Staff are knowledgeable about campus resources and are trained to answer questions that you might have about making the transition to university.

We hope that you enjoy your stay at The University of Western Ontario, and will continue to take advantage of all the opportunities of living in a residence hall. Out-of-class experiences during university are just as important as what you learn in the classroom.
