Specific Move-in Instructions for Delaware Hall

• Move-in day for Delaware Hall residents is Monday, September 3, 2001. Changes to this date will only be considered under exceptional circumstances.
• You may notice that Delaware Hall is actually closer to the Richmond Street side of campus, however University Drive will experience a heavy amount of move-in traffic for Elgin, Sydenham/Medway Halls and Alumni House. To reduce traffic congestion, please approach Delaware Hall by driving north on Western Road (note: Wharncliffe Road becomes Western Road just north of Oxford Street).
• You will see Essex Hall on your right-hand side as you approach the intersection of Western Road and Sarnia Road. Turn right at this intersection onto Huron Street (note: Sarnia becomes Huron at this intersection).
• Continue past the practice field on your right.
• Turn right again at the stop sign at Lambton Drive.
• As you proceed straight through the lights at University Drive, Delaware Hall is located on your right-hand side.
• You may drive your vehicle into the Delaware Hall traffic circle when a vacant space is available.
• To unload, park your vehicle along the right-hand side of the Delaware Hall traffic circle -- do not park on the left-hand side.
• With your permission, residence staff will tag your personal belongings with your room number and then move them to your room.
• Once your vehicle is unloaded, please move it immediately to the Visual Arts parking lot.
• Please do not abandon your vehicle in the unloading zone.
• Check-in will take place in the Main Lounge on the ground floor.
