Alumni House
- A small residence located along University Drive just inside the Richmond Street gates
- Suite-style accommodation where four students share a furnished suite and manage their
own cooking (a campus meal plan or a meal plan in a nearby residence is optional)
- Suites are single gender
- Suites have cooking facilities (stove and refrigerator) for a more independent lifestyle
- A small common living room, kitchenette and 1 1/2 baths is provided
in each suite along with four single bedrooms
- A large main floor common area/lounge featuring big-screen TV,
piano, vending machines, ping pong tables, and pool table
- Free use of physical recreation rooms in nearby Elgin Hall, and
a grass playing field for intramural sports, fun and recreational
activities
- Restaurants, convenience stores, a drug store and banking machines
are located just around the corner
Specific Move-in
Instructions for Alumni House
- Move-in day for Alumni House residents is Sunday, September
2, 2001
- Please approach Alumni House from the Richmond Street
gates.
- Unfortunately, there is limited metered parking adjacent
to the residence, however, you may stop your vehicle temporarily
on University Drive to unload your belongings.
- You may access the building through the main doors.
Elevators will not be available for moving items - there
are stairs to the upper three levels.
- Check-in will take place in the Common Room on the main
floor.
- With your permission, residence staff will tag your
personal belongings with your room number and then move
them to your room.
- Once your vehicle is unloaded, please move it immediately
to the Medway parking lot. Please do not abandon your
vehicle in the unloading zone.
