Flu Shot Information - Fall 2015

Flu season is here. Please consider getting vaccinated to protect yourself from influenza to avoid losing time from school and work due to the influenza illness.

Flu shots for students

Flu shot clinics for students will be held on the follow dates between 9 a.m. and 3:30 p.m.

No appointment is necessary, but please bring your Western student card and your Health Card.

Flu shots for staff and faculty

Workplace Health and the Staff/Faculty Family Practice Clinic will be providing adult-only influenza immunization clinics for Western faculty, staff and postdoctoral scholars.

Only employees of the University are eligible to use these immunization clinics. Western student employees should refer to “Flu shots for students” above.

These staff and faculty clinics do not require an appointment. You will be asked to present a valid Health Card to receive your flu shot.

Please note that immunization for children is not available at these clinics. Employees and family members registered with the Western’s Family Practice Clinic (FPC) may make an appointment to take their children to the FPC for immunization. Other staff and faculty are asked to contact their family physician to arrange immunization for children.
