Publications:
The
project team spent nearly four years transcribing and checking all the MSS,
researching their history and characteristics, designing the user interface, and
preparing the additional documentation.
This is a very basic edition of the Mystery of Saint Barbara in Two
Days intended only to make the text available to the scientific community.
I plan to provide a proper online critical edition of this text after the
publication of Mystery of Saint Barbara in Five Days. The two
texts are totally unrelated.
This Festschrift is given to honour the career of Allan Hindley a specialist
of Medieval French drama. The book is designed to read like a monograph; it is
divided in sections and chapters. The health of one of the editors within our
team forced us to postpone the expected publication to 2010.
The dimensions of this
Mystery play are simply excessive; the text is made up of almost 25000 lines.
This explains the time I have spent on this phenomenal cultural production and
my association with Jacques Lemaire from the University of Bruxelles. The
edition is in the very last stages of preparation for publication.
