The Faculty of Health Sciences recognizes the importance of research in the diverse disciplines of its Schools. It also recognize that research training is an important part of the undergraduate academic experience. To encourage multi-disciplinary research in health-related fields, the Faculty of Health Sciences has established three prestigious undergraduate student research fellowships, one in each of the Schools of Health Studies, Kinesiology, and Nursing (for either the BScN or CTF programs) valued at $2,000 per year.

Selections will be adjudicated by the FHS Associate Deans and Dean according to the academic excellence of the candidates and the quality of the project outlines. It is expected that, following the duration of the research fellowship, the student will provide a report summarizing the project and its findings. Recipients will be featured with their research posters at the FHS Research Day event.
The project shall not be considered for course credit.
