The University of Western Ontario is pleased to announce the first combined MPT/PhD program in Canada. This program provides candidates with the opportunity to obtain the educational requirements for licensure to practice physical therapy, concurrent with the academic training to perform independent research in a topic related to physical therapy. Up to four students will be admitted each year to the MPT program in this special category. The MPT/PhD program is part of Western's Graduate Program in Health & Rehabilitation Sciences (HRS).
