Driving Rehabilitation Therapy

The only program of its kind in the world, Western's Master of Clinical Science (MClSc) in Driving Rehabilitation Therapy provides an educational experience that concurrently focuses on the practice and development of specialized skills, advanced practice behaviours, leadership activities and critical appraisal of research in the area of driving rehabilitation. Graduates of this program are qualified to be entry-level driving rehabilitation therapists working with medically-at-risk drivers.

Program Objective

Western's Master of Clinical Science (MClSc) in Driving Rehabilitation Therapy program trains students to screen, assess and evaluate drivers who are medically at risk for driving or who are unfit to drive. Students will also learn to provide evidence-based interventions for experienced licensed drivers representing populations across the lifespan.
