Simulated Education Suite

One of two simulated teaching facilities utilized by the School of Nursing to enhance student learning, the Simulated Education Suite is located in the Arthur and Sonia Labatt Health Sciences Building and helps students develop the skills and knowledge needed to be successful health-care professionals.

CES South View

The Simulated Education Suite is a nine-bed simulated hospital facility where students learn to engage in basic and complex care and develop critical thinking skills.


CES SimMan

Programmable simulated patients are vital to teaching students about the management of complex situations.


CES Nursing Station

With a clinical nursing station, the space is designed to function exactly like a hospital ward that students would encounter in clinical placements.

CES Clean Linen

Further enhancing the utility of the Suite is a medication room, which adds another level of learning to the simulated environment.


CES East View

Western's helped pioneer simulated nursing education in Ontario and was home to one of the first simulated hospital units.


CES West View

With nine beds, the Simulated Education Suite allows multiple students to practice simultaneously and learn from each other.
