Meet Natalie

Natalie wants to help people around the world lead healthier lives.

Hometown: Mt. Brydges, Ontario

Program: Western-Fanshawe Collaborative Program

Year: 4th Year

Favourite thing about Western: The campus that is so amazing to walk through during each season.

Why Nursing: I want to provide comfort and support during some of the toughest times in an individuals life.

My campus/community involvement: VP Social on the Nursing Students Association and full time volunteer with Chesire in London

Best place to study: Fourth floor of the Health Sciences Building.

My favourite class: Pharmacology

Best place to eat on campus: The Spoke and The Wave are tied. They both become irresistible during exams!

Best way to meet other nursing students: Come out to nursing events and reach out to fellow classmates. Explore mutual interests with those you meet and pursue new opportunities.

Three words to describe being a Nursing student at Western: Challenging. Rewarding. Empowering.

What I want to be when I grow up: A nurse practitioner who is able to provide acute and community care in the Northern Territories of Canada.

My favourite Western memory: I have to throw it back to my first year pinning ceremony where the realization that my journey towards becoming a nurse was truly about to begin and now it’s already my final year!
