Master of Science in Nursing (MScN) Program
Admission Requirements

To be considered for admission to the Master of Science in Nursing (MScN) program, applicants must:

  • Possess a baccalaureate degree in Nursing from a program that is accredited by the Canadian Association of Schools of Nursing or approved by an appropriate provincial nursing organization
  • Have a minimum average of  B+ (78% or higher) on the last 10 courses completed
  • Have successfully completed half-courses in both undergraduate research and statistics
  • Present proof of RN registration with the College of Nurses of Ontario, except for international students
  • Present proof of membership in the Registered Nurses' Association of Ontario, except for international students
  • Specify research interests (The alignment of an applicant’s research interests with faculty programs of research is an important consideration when an application is assessed)
