The purpose and goal of the Career Directions Fair is to provide exhibitors and students with the opportunity to exchange information. Students can learn about professional and college programs, network with potential employers, and explore volunteer opportunities with non-profit organizations.

Exhibitors should read the Exibitor Information below in order to prepare for the event.

Exhibitor Information

There is no expectation for you to accept resumes or applications at the Career Directions Fair but you may choose to do so. Many exhibitors have returned year after year to recruit and raise awareness in their field. By attending, you have an opportunity to meet and talk to students and to promote the benefits of your organization.

We understand from our students that many want to explore their options in the private and public sectors so it is important they understand what you are looking for. It is also important for students to understand the education needed for careers in the various areas of health. We promote this event to them as an opportunity to explore the credentials they would need.

EXHIBITOR REGISTRATION

There is no registration fee for participating in this event. Please register using the online form below. Because space is limited it is advised that exhibitors register early.

By submitting your registration form, you acknowledge that The University of Western Ontario and any of its Faculties, Departments, Programs, or Schools do not maintain insurance covering an exhibitor's property. You also acknowledge (a) it is your responsibility to obtain any necessary insurance coverage for damage, theft, or loss incurred as a result of being an exhibitor, and (b) full responsibility for all your equipment, information, and other products that may be on display at your exhibit.

Room Set-up

You will be provided with a pre-assigned eight-foot table and two chairs. There are some electrical outlets in the room so please indicate on the registration form if you need electricity. Promotional materials may be sent ahead of time to:

For those who need one, nametags will be provided based on the names submitted through the registration form.

Parking

Parking is available in the Weldon Lot at a cost of $12 for the day at a maximum. Parking fees can be paid via credit card upon exiting the lot.  

Volunteer Ambassadors

Student Ambassadors will be available at 9:30 a.m. to help you bring in your display materials. They will be available again at the end of the day to help you with your display materials. If you require assistance with your promotional materials please park your car and walk over to the Great Hall.  One of our student ambassadors will then return with you to your vehicle to assist you.

Refreshments

Food and drinks will be provided at the event by Western.
