Two FHS members win awards at NASSM 2015
Misener, who researches and teaches in the areas of sport for development and disability sports, was one of six recipients of the NASSM Research Fellow Award, which recognizes the achievement of scholars in sport-related research disseminated through NASSM.
Weese, who also serves as Dean of the Faculty of Health Sciences, was presented with the Garth Paton Distinguished Service Award, which annually recognizes a member's outstanding service contributions to NASSM. He was previously honoured by NASSM with the Earle F. Zeigler Lecture Award (2001) while a faculty member at the University of Windsor.
