BA - Honors Specialization in Kinesiology - Physical Education for Teaching

This module is designed to better prepare students for the curriculum in Faculties of Education and in their future professional teaching careers. Course selections will allow students to generalize or focus on a particular skill (sport, games, exercise, dance) to be better prepared to work with groups at varying levels. This is a limited enrolment program with approximately 15 spaces available each year.

Progression from Yr. 1 to Yr. 2

This is a limited enrolment module, meaning that the progression standard may fluctuate from year to year depending on how many students want to progress into this module and how good their grades are. Students will at minimum need a 75% average with no grade less than 60%. Typically, over the past few years a student with a 75% average with no grade less than 60% has successfully progressed.

Honors degree graduation minimum average requirements?

Students must maintain a 70% average on their senior Kinesiology/Dance courses with no grade less than 60%.

Additionally, students must maintain a cumulative average of 65% with no fails.
