This module is designed for those students who wish to become more knowledgeable and competitive as exercise and fitness specialists. Course selections will allow students to focus on the socio-cultural and bioscience factors relating to understanding and prescribing exercise. This is a limited enrolment program with 15 spaces available each year. This is a limited enrolment module, meaning that the progression standard may fluctuate from year to year depending on how many students want to progress into this module and how good their grades are. Students will at minimum need a 75% average with no grade less than 60%. Typically, over the past few years, a student with a 75% average with no grade less than 60% has successfully progressed. Students must maintain a 70% average on their senior Kinesiology/Dance courses with no grade less than 60%.
