Honors Double Major - Kinesiology + Second Major

The BA Honors Double Major in Kinesiology focuses on a broader orientation of kinesiology. A sample of kinesiology perspectives covered includes studies in psychology, sociology, philosophy, history, sport management and sport law. Bioscience courses such as fitness appraisal, injuries, biomechanics, exercise physiology, anatomy and ergonomics can be included. A second module of the students choice outside of Kinesiology will also be included.

Progression from Year 1 to Year 2

To be guaranteed progression from year 1 to year 2 into this Honors level program students will need a minimum average of 70% with no grade less than 60%. Students who do not meet these requirements will be considered for the non-honors major in Kinesiology and should review the required progression requirements for that program by reviewing the related program checklist or speaking with an academic counsellor.

Honors degree graduation minimum average requirements?

Students must maintain a 70% average on their senior Kinesiology/Dance courses with no grade less than 60%. Students must also maintain a 70% average on the senior courses required in their second major module with no grade less then 60%.

Additionally, students must maintain a cumulative average of 65% with no fails.
