It is my pleasure to welcome you to our Faculty website. We are so proud of our Faculty-and for good reason. Our curricula are progressive and cutting edge while still exceeding the accreditation standards and proud traditions of our respective Schools. Our members are receiving international and campus honours for their teaching and research contributions. Our staff and professors continue to go above the call of duty to ensure a "best student experience" for undergraduate and graduate students alike.

Our Mission

The mission of the Faculty of Health Sciences is "to lead in the generation and dissemination of knowledge in the areas of health and health care, rehabilitation, physical activity and sport". Furthermore, we are committed to delivering the best student experience among Canada's research intensive universities.

Innovation abounds

Our academic programs are fiercely competitive and attracting the best and brightest students. Many of our students hold prestigious provincial and national scholarships. We believe our new interdisciplinary program will be very attractive to students as well as facilitate greater interdisciplinary research activity. We complement our classroom experiences with innovative simulation activities.

Progressive Strategic Plan

We have a new strategic plan that takes the Faculty down dual tracks, namely disciplinary excellence and interdisciplinary excellence. We've heightened efforts to provide students with enriched counselling services and opportunities for international and experiential learning.
