The two-year, MClSc program in Speech-Language Pathology is unified under a Theory-to-Practice umbrella that includes four Core Theory themes (Foundations, Disorders of Speech and Voice, Disorders of Language, Disorders of Hearing) and three Core Practice themes (Professional Practice, Clinical Applications, Clinical Practice). Throughout the program, students are taught how to make the transition from theory into clinical practice. To facilitate this process, a hands-on clinical applications course is offered as a companion to all core theory courses. An overview chart of the two-year graduate curriculum Speech-language Pathology with a brief description for each course along with the total number of hours per course is available here. Coursework in the Speech-language Pathology curriculum is scheduled such that no term involves more teaching and placement hours than those contained in a typical five-course term.
