Information for Prospective Students

Prospective graduate students should apply to the MSc program in Health and Rehabilitation Sciences through the Faculty of Health Sciences at Western University. Lab director Allyson Dykstra is a member of the Rehabilitation Sciences and Speech & Language Science fields. Further information can be found through Western's School of Graduate and Postdoctoral Studies.

Students interested in pursuing clinical studies in speech-language pathology or audiology should apply to the MClSc program in Speech-Language Pathology or Audiology. Further information can be found through Western's School of Communication Sciences & Disorders or through the Ontario Rehabilitation Sciences Program Application Service (ORPAS).

Prospective undergraduate positions include students:

  • Enrolled in the UWO work-study program
  • Students enrolled in the Scholars Electives Program
  • Students completing a fourth-year honors thesis (in a related discipline)
  • Students who wish to apply for a summer research assistantship
  • Students wishing to volunteer
