Research Interests
- Measurement of neuromuscular performance and related muscle contractile properties in older adults
- Investigating the benefits of high-resistance exercise programs for improving muscular strength and function in this population, which includes sport-specific injury prevention such as for golf
- Application of these findings to rehabilitation programs for older adults with mobility impairment (muscles of the lower limb are my usual models of investigation for this area of research).
