The Neurovascular Research Laboratory (NVRL)

The Neurovascular Research Laboratory is dedicated to fundamental research that studies how the autonomic nervous system integrates with cardiovascular control. Using two different facilities, studies are developed to examine the mechanistic details associated with the following research programs:

Sympathetic nervous system (SNS) discharge patterns
Mechanical properties of blood vessels
The cortical autonomic network
The integrative physiology of sympathetic and vasomotor responses.
