Trillium Primary Care Research Forum

The Trillium Primary Care Research Forum is a collaborative effort among the three south-west Ontario Family Medicine programs:

The University of Western Ontario; The University of Toronto; and McMaster University

Each of the sponsoring Family Medicine programs enjoys an exciting and unique primary care research culture and Trillium offers a forum for these groups to come together and share their perspectives. The meeting offers terrific rewards to attenders who are exposed to the latest in peer-reviewed primary care research.

Research Consultation with Family Physicians

All family physicians/general practitioners in London and surrounding areas are welcome to participate in projects of the TVFPRU.  Area physicians are closely involved in all stages of research projects, from developing an initial idea for a study through to the interpretation and presentation of results.  Input from physicians ensures that research is relevant and conducted in a manner that is consistent with good patient care.  Studies are structured to ensure minimal disruption of practice routines.

Physicians who are interested in participating in Research Unit studies or require advice on their own studies are encouraged to contact Dr. Moira Stewart (Director), Cathy Thorpe (Research Associate)  or Dr. Neil Marshall (Liaison Physician)  at (519) 858-5028.
