The Department of Family Medicine congratulates Dr. Moira Stewart for being selected as a Distinguished University Professor at Western University. This prestigious appointment acknowledges the tremendous contributions of Dr. Stewart to the University in service, teaching and research. It is a great honour for the Department of Family Medicine to have a Distinguished University Professor as one of our faculty members. Congratulations, Moira!

Researchers at Western University recently hosted 104 participants, including primary health care practitioners, policy-makers, researchers, and electronic medical record vendors from across Canada, at the Bridging the Gaps: A Canadian Primary Health Care Electronic Medical Record Conference held in Toronto, Ontario on March 1st, 2012.
