I hope you enjoy browsing through our website which provides
information on the talented people who work with us, the goals
and activities of the CSFM, and the projects and publications
produced.
The CSFM's focus is on the enhancement of family medicine
and primary health care practice which will reflect a partnership
of the community and interdisciplinary teams committed to proactive patient-centred care.
The CSFM has six
goals and conducts research in each of these areas.
The CSFM is the research arm of the Department
of Family Medicine, The Schulich School of Medicine and Dentistry, The
University of Western Ontario. It is a Senate-approved
Centre with an interdisciplinary team of investigators (epidemiology,
family medicine, social work and psychology).

CSFM is spearheading a new CIHR Strategic Training Grant
in Interdisciplinary Primary Health Care Research. This
exciting opportunity will provide workshops in interdisciplinary
