Faculty (UWOFA)

The OFR team liaises with academic leaders and their administrative staff, faculty, and UWOFA on matters relating to terms and conditions of employment. We are responsible for the negotiation of collective agreements, letters of understanding and waivers; resolution and/or adjudication of grievances and complaints; audit and approval of appointment related actions; academic leadership development; and support for new faculty transitioning to Western. Our interest is in accomplishing these tasks in a way that enhances the work experience at Western while ensuring Western excels in its educational and scholarly mission.
