Discrimination and Harassment

Duty to Accommodate
Western has created the Duty to Accommodate Guidelines to assist with accommodating the needs of its community members protected under the Ontario Human Rights Code. Some examples of needs that must be accommodated result from factors related to disability, sex, age, family status, ethnic or national origin, and religious beliefs. Code of Student Conduct
The Code of Student Conduct defines the general standard of conduct expected of students and provides examples of conduct that may be subject to disciplinary action by the University. It also sets out disciplinary procedures and cites examples of sanctions that may be imposed. Please see the Code of Student Conduct for more information.

Academic Accommodations for Students with Disabilities
The guidelines for academic accommodations for students with disabilities are published each academic year in Western's Academic Calendar. These guidelines summarize the process of requesting, granting, and making arrangements for academic accommodation and detail the responsibilities of those involved in the process.
Multicultural Calendar
This unique and informative Multicultural Calendar provides detailed information on multifaith, multicultural and diversity related holidays and observances. To access the online calendar you will need your Western User ID and password.
