The annual PSCEE report, prepared by the President’s Standing Committee for Employment Equity, contains the committee’s recommendations for advancing employment equity at Western.

Workforce Analysis Summary Report

The workforce analysis contained in this report seeks to quantify the under-representation of designated group members (women, visible minorities, Aboriginal persons and persons with disabilities) as determined by the guidelines set out in the Federal Contractors Program.

Employment Systems Review

In 2009, a comprehensive Employment Systems Review (ESR) was conducted on Western’s behalf by an external consultant, Barbara Herring and Associates Inc. The consultant was hired by Western to examine a wide range of human resource practices and policies, and to make recommendations for removing obstacles, which may be experienced by designated group members (aboriginal persons, women, visible minorities, and persons with disabilities) within Western’s workforce.

Accessibility Plan

The Accessibility Plan, prepared by Western's Ontarians with Disabilities Act Committee, documents which barriers to accessibility at Western have been removed in the previous year and identifies any barriers that will need to be removed in the next reporting period. Past and present accessibility plans can be viewed on the Accessibility website.
