The University of Western Ontario has a number of policies related to equity and human rights issues. The University has also agreed with several unions and employee groups to include equity and human rights articles in the Collective or Employment Agreements of many of the unions and employee groups on campus.

University-wide policies

University-wide policies apply to all members of the campus community. However, where there is a conflict between these policies and the provisions of a collective agreement or employment agreement the latter shall take precedence.

Code of Student Conduct

The Code of Student Conduct defines the general standard of conduct expected of students and provides examples of conduct that may be subject to disciplinary action by the University. It also sets out disciplinary procedures and cites examples of sanctions that may be imposed. Please see the Code of Student Conduct for more information.
