Employment Equity & Diversity - Survey
Western’s employment equity survey is a crucial component of Western’s commitment to diversity. As such, all employees of the university (staff and faculty) are strongly encouraged to take the few minutes necessary to complete this confidential survey. The purpose of the survey is to provide an accurate picture of the composition of Western's workforce. This information is essential to develop employment equity programs at Western and to measure our progress towards creating an equitable workplace and building a diverse workforce. The accuracy of our employment equity database is also a critical criterion of Western’s compliance with federal regulations (i.e. the Federal Contractors Program).
Accessing the Employment Equity Survey
There are two convenient ways to count yourself in!
1) Access the survey online
The Employee Equity Survey is accessible online through the university’s
“myHuman Resources” web portal. In order to access the system, you must use your Western User ID and Password. You can sign in to complete your survey below. Please note... when finished, be sure to click on the Sign Out link. This will ensure that only authorized personnel can access your information.
2) Access a printable version of the survey
A printable (pdf) version of the survey also available here. Please remember to include your name and university identification number on this paper version. If this information is not indicated, your survey response will not be recorded. Once you have completed the paper survey, we recommend that you place it in a sealed envelope marked confidential and send it via intercampus mail to:
