Every member of University community has the right to study, work and conduct his or her activities in an environment free from discrimination and harassment. The University community includes employees (faculty and staff), students, volunteers and other individuals who work or study at the University.
Equity and Human Rights Services (EHRS) administers the University’s policies on discrimination and harassment. University community members may seek advice about what options may be available to them under Western’s policies or non-discrimination and harassment clauses in collective and employment agreements. Our service is confidential except in specific circumstances.
