Position Roles and Responsibilities
- Oversees and delegates over all projects of ESS
- All projects will go through the Co-ordinators
- In charge of fundraising for different events
- Responsible for the safe keeping of all ESS funds
- Will collect any receipts obtained from purchasing products for ESS activities and reimburse money accordingly
- Will make monthly reports on financial activities
- At the end of the study period (April) money left will be given to Holly for next year’s group
- Responsible for the coordination of ESS public events
- Will cooperate with social coordinators
- Responsible for forming and overseeing subcommittees on a project to project basis
- Responsible for taking minutes from weekly meetings
- Minutes will be posted to ZetaBoards and sent out through ESS email
- Any internal information of ESS will be sent through the ESS email account
- Social events (events of ESS group)
- Providing information about meetings and events (when? where?)
- ZetaBoards (MES 2011) will be used for new ideas and initiatives.
- Will be the official ESS contact with CES Office Administrator
- Responsible for sending any information about ESS to be put onto the CES website
- Will provide updates on public events
- Will attend all monthly EnviroWestern meetings
- Maintain contact with Nicole Bakker (EnviroWestern Coordinator)
- Will ensure that ESS events are suitable and do not interfere with EnviroWestern events
- Responsible for the potential column of any ESS articles in The Gazette
- Responsible for advertising any events with The Gazette
- Will be in charge of recruiting writers for the column
- (This is a project that will be fully executed in the second semester)
- Responsible for the planning of ESS social events
- MES Advisory Committee student rep
- Community Outreach student rep
- supporting role in any initiatives
