I teach British literature and culture of the fourteenth, sixteenth and seventeenth centuries. My research focuses on drama of the sixteenth and seventeenth centuries, particularly on Shakespeare. As an editor of Shakespeare, I am interested in continuing to make his work available, accessible, and enjoyable for today's readers and audiences. My interests are also in discovering what can be known about the now-lost manuscripts from which Shakespeare's works were first printed.
