I teach a variety of courses in both English and Writing, with my focus in English being on early modern literature, dramatic and otherwise. Areas of interest include contemporary health and professional communication, sixteenth century health narratives and martyrological literature, as well as exploring the connection between writing instruction and confessional identity in early modern England.
My current project (co-authored with Dr. Michael Arntfield) is the narrative medicine focused textbook Writing for Success in Healthcare (forthcoming from Broadview).
