EDITORIAL EMENDATIONS

These notes record all editorial emendations in the present text to the first edition of Lake Lyrics and Other Poems. Each entry contains the reading of the present text before the "]" and the reading of the first edition after the "]". Thus, "30  a-clanging ] a clanging" indicates that in line 30 of the poem "Autumn's Chant" a hyphen has been added between the words "a" and "clanging" where there is none in the first edition.
