The animateurs and the community as a whole! Trois-Pistoles is a beautiful town with so much to offer and I enjoyed every single moment I spent here. The program as a whole is amazing and the teaching staff is incredible. The friendships I have made here will last a lifetime, and I can say beyond a doubt that these were the BEST five weeks I have ever spent! I would definitely recommend this program to others!

This was one of the most eye-opening experiences I have ever had. Having previously been quite ignorant about Canadian cultural differences, I have now never felt so Canadian in my life. At Trois-Pistoles, I learned about the rich, diverse nature of Québec culture, had a true immersion experience in a very open, supportive community, and was administered by a dedicated, hard-working staff that are very in touch with the needs and realities of student life. I would recommend this experience to all Canadians and I feel it does a great service to national cultural growth and personal exploration.

For me, the most amazing thing was how much I learned. And not just about speaking French
(although that has definitely improved) but about the culture and the people. By learning about other people, I also learned about myself which sounds cheesy and clichéd, but it’s true. It’s all true.

Trois-Pistoles was extremely beneficial for my French speaking ability and especially my knowledge of the Québécois culture. I just finished my undergrad with a minor in French (so I’ve studied French for 13 years, since grade 4) BUT, I learned more French here, at Trois-Pistoles in 5 weeks, than in 13 years at school. My speaking ability and vocabulary improved more than I imagined it would. I will never forget and always appreciate my time here at Trois-Pistoles.
