The University of Western Ontario's Trois-Pistoles French Immersion School attracts participants from all over Canada, the United States, Latin America, and other parts of the world, who wish to upgrade their education or pursue a professional or personal goal. The Trois-Pistoles French Immersion School offers its clients an experience of a lifetime: a complete immersion environment, so that they not only learn French, but live the language and the culture.



Five Week Session

Please note that application procedures are different for Bursary and Non-Bursary applicants.

1. Fill out the Bursary application form at www.myexplore.ca

Send in the following items:

1. A photocopy of photo identification

2. REGISTRATION FORM


3. To help with course selection complete the online PLACEMENT TEST . DO NOT SUBMIT results online. Just send in the results page with grade.

4. ACCOMMODATION QUESTIONNAIRE

5. For participants who are 17 years of age, the PARENTAL PERMISSION FORM

6. ACKNOWLEDGEMENT & ASSUMPTION OF RISK




 

2. Send a paper copy of your application to  your Provincial Coordinator post-marked no later than February 28.

UWO students may bring their forms
to the Trois-Pistoles office on campus
(WSS 3100L) for mailing.

Make sure you have filled out the form properly. You will need a stamp from your School (Student Central at UWO) proving that you are a full- time student and certain supporting documents including proof of Canadian citizenship or permanent residency.

3. Wait for the draw results. If you receive a bursary you will automatically receive a registration package from the Trois-Pistoles French Immersion School. (You might be put on a waiting list. If so, we will contact you as soon as your name appears on the list.)

4. Fill out the School forms (see next column for list) promptly. Make sure you send them back within the deadline period or you risk losing your spot.

*To be eligible for the Explore Bursary Program at Trois-Pistoles you must be:
