Dear parent/guardian:

The Trois-Pistoles French Immersion School is pleased to welcome students who are 17 years of age to our program. In order to assure that the school administration and parents of these students are in agreement with the conditions of acceptance, please take the time to read about our rules and policies.

You should have received a copy of our annual Calendar. There is also an Information Package on our website.  These documents describe general policies that apply to all students. In addition, please read and complete the attached  form entitled "Information for Parents", and send it to the return address on the registration form, along with the completed Registration and Accommodation forms, test results, Acknowledgement and Assumption of Risk waiver and the $250 program registration fee/deposit.

Trois-Pistoles French Immersion School

 INFORMATION FOR PARENTS/GUARDIANS OF 17 YEAR OLD PARTICIPANTS

In order to respect the principles of the Explore Bursary Program, the Trois-Pistoles French Immersion School requires that all students adhere to the following rules:
  -   Attendance at courses and workshops is obligatory (all absences must be reported and justified);
  -   The Director's permission is required for students wishing to travel outside of Trois-Pistoles for any activity not organized by the school;
  -   Exclusive use of French as the language of communication during the entire program is mandatory.
Any repeated infraction is regarded as a breach of contract which may put the student at risk of dismissal from the program.

The following policies apply to all students under the age of 18. Please initial to demonstrate that you are aware of the rules:

•  ALCOHOL - Quebec law restricts the purchase and consumption of alcoholic beverages to persons 18 years of age and over.  ___ (initial here)
   

• CURFEW - The school has adopted a curfew policy for students under 18 years of age:  11:00 pm for weekdays (Monday to Thursday nights)
  and 1:00 am on weekends. This policy applies to all offsite field trips/excursions as well.   ____ (initial here)
   

•  PERMISSION TO LEAVE THE PROGRAM PREMISES -  In order for all parties to be directly informed, the Director of the school requires written and signed parental permission for students wishing to leave  the program premises without school supervision.       ____ (initial here)
