I can definitely say that I learned a lot as a result of my experience there and still use a lot of the skills I acquired as a result. I continued to work at my placement after my practicum was complete, but about a year later I wanted to move closer to home. I started working at a BioPed in Cambridge and they were looking for someone to open up a Waterloo location. I ended up being the lucky candidate. Now I own and manage my own BioPed pedorthics clinic.
