Mark Pocrnic
Diploma in Pedorthics
Throughout my undergrad at Western , I tried to direct myself towards a profession that would have a direct impact in helping to keep people active. I was searching the Continuing Studies website as suggested by my academic councilor and found the Diploma in Pedorthics program to be very appealing. I had always known about orthotics but never fully appreciated them. This may have been the reason I was eager to apply. Also, this program allows the convenience of online classes with hands-on practicums to accompany them providing both the essential information and discussion while allowing for demonstration by trained professionals in the field.
